About Us

Harold is the founder of Metro Hand Therapy. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh where he earned a Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy. Harold has over 25 years of experience in orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation, obtaining advanced certification in hand therapy (CHT) in 2019. With over 10 years of direct specialization in the treatment of hands and the upper extremity (digits, wrist, elbow and shoulder) Harold is able to focus on your concerns to achieve the optimal functional outcomes.

Harold opened Metro Hand Therapy in 2020 to service the Atlanta metro area. Feeling passionate about providing individualized service, with a focus on quality and outcomes for all patients. Harold has years of experience in manual therapy, fabrication of custom splints (orthotics), trigger point release, wound management, myofascial release, lacerations, and complex fracture management. Harold understands the complexity of the hand and upper extremity and continues to further his education in this area to provide the most up to date evidence-based treatment for those he serves.

He resides in Decatur, Georgia with his wife Joy and enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, gardening and exercising.
